SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS

We understand that life can seem overwhelming at the moment and we are here to help you. Our team of experts will carefully guide you through the challenges that you face and be by your side throughout the journey. We combine decades of occupational therapy with innovative ways of working, to provide neurological rehabilitation that allows you to regain an independent and fulfilling life.

We have a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of brain injury and the devastating impact that this can have on a person’s life. By giving you time, opportunity and support we can work together to set achievable goals for the future.

We are highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of patients with cognitive and behavioural deficits following brain injury, and the effect that these deficits have on a person’s integration into family and community living.

“When I first had my head injury, I couldn't dress or wash myself, I needed help with making meals and I was very depressed. OT helped me to regain these skills and more, I can now go out into the community again and I'm just starting to do some voluntary work. Maybe I can one day return to work, but the important thing is that I'm happy Thank you” - CR

We are also able to provide specialist treatment for physical deficits resulting from neurological trauma, and in the treatment of the upper limb, posture and seating.

Assessment

Our assessment services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals living with a neurological condition. We aim to identify the barriers to independence, including physical limitations, cognitive and executive limitations, and behavioural and sensory presentations. These challenges can have a significant impact on an individual and the people around them, affecting their day-to-day life including family relationships and broader community interactions.
