Heads Up Rehabilitation’s team of Occupational Therapists provide exceptional treatment to individuals with various neurological conditions, including those with brain injuries, prolonged disorders of consciousness, and clients dependent on technology such as ventilators, tracheostomy and enteral feeding.
Our clinical assessments identify the client’s previous level of function and evaluate how this has changed since their injury or illness, including physical, cognitive, emotional and sensory function and the impact that these symptoms have had on a person’s ability to engage in everyday activities; such as personal care, community access, driving, work and leisure activities.
We provide comprehensive reports and recommendations on how we can support our clients with a tailored rehabilitation plan, which includes duration and costing’s. This might include onward referrals to other professionals or services, advice on equipment, assistive technology, environmental adaptations or carer support.
Assessment
Our assessment services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals living with a neurological condition. We aim to identify the barriers to independence, including physical limitations, cognitive and executive limitations, and behavioural and sensory presentations. These challenges can have a significant impact on an individual and the people around them, affecting their day-to-day life including family relationships and broader community interactions.

Training & Education
Heads Up Rehabilitation can also provide expert training and education for support and care staff. We can produce bespoke programmes tailored to each individual business, providing specific modules related to care specialisms, service users and client groups. Training and education can be planned, arranged and delivered on a one-to-one basis or for larger groups.
Equipment & Adaptations
Heads Up Rehabilitation works closely with equipment suppliers to ensure that the needs of our clients are met through a professional and seamless service.
